About the event
Join senior professionals in a relaxed, virtual environment to discuss key competencies in public administration and how they evolve over the course of a public service career - particularly during times of change.
Participants will:
Explore what key competencies—such as analytical thinking, collaboration, and strategic thinking—look like in practice at different levels (e.g., EC-04 to EX-01).
Discuss strategies for building and demonstrating these competencies in day-to-day work, interviews, and performance discussions.
Learn how competencies connect to broader leadership expectations, including the Key Leadership Competencies (KLCs), results orientation, and adaptability in complex environments.
Reflect on how mentorship, networking, and professional development can accelerate competency growth and career progression.
